Week 2

This week was a lot busier than last week so I did all my reading yesterday and today. I read for about two hours altogether. This book is getting better and better the more I read it. Ruby is now at a new school called Perkins Day. It is a school where all the rich kids go so she doesn't think she will fit in. While she was enrolling with Jamie, her brother-in-law, she found out that he was teh CEO of the UMe website. This is a social network that is comparative to Facebook. Ruby had no idea what he or her sister did for a living until the school visit. Ruby and her sister, Cora, don't really talk much or seem to get along, but Jamie is really nice and caring towards Ruby. I think this is showing Ruby what she had been missing out on when she was living with her mom. Her mom didn't seem to really care about Ruby or want to talk to her, so this is a good change for Ruby. She is going through so many changes, but at least she ended up in a home that will create positive changes. Ruby also met a boy while trying to run away and I am assuming he will come back later in the book. I am excited to keep reading and find out if this guy plays more of a role in this story.
